  1. RamPage v 5.0 (Feb, 5, 1995)
  2.   
  3.   - Rewrote RamPage from scratch, making it much more efficient, and   
  4.     configurable. FINALLY figured out how to make the RamPage menu
  5.     redraw by hitting the ENTER key. 
  6.  
  7.   - Added in more lines to the RAMPAGE.CFG file to make RamPage much more
  8.     configurable than before. New RAMPAGE.CFG features:
  9.        
  10.        - Ability to disable Emergency Page
  11.        
  12.        - Option of sending RAMPAGE.BAD users a "special" BBS/RIP screen
  13.          after the fake page sequence. Leave entry as PAGED to keep the
  14.          normal Wildcat's PAGED.BBS/RIP screen. (Reworked the fake page
  15.          extensively. Fake Page now looks and acts EXACTLY like a normal
  16.          page except for the noise)
  17.        
  18.        - Length of Emergency Page is now configurable. The higher the
  19.          number, the longer the Emergency Page will be. (tweaked this
  20.          feature to make propeller more appealing)
  21.  
  22.        - Added in ability to run a WCX file if a user logs off from within
  23.          RamPage. If you currently run a WCX file and wish to keep it, 
  24.          add in the command, RUN WCX on line #6 of the RAMPAGE.CFG file, and
  25.          the full path and filename of the WCX file on line #7.
  26.  
  27.   - Removed the source code from the RamPage archive. I wanted to keep the
  28.     archive as small as possible. I also noticed that most other WcCode
  29.     authors weren't including their source codes any longer, and I wasn't  
  30.     sure if the source code was even desired any longer. If I receive enough 
  31.     requests, I'll add the source back in.

  33.   - After many hours of failure, I was unable to add in the ability to set 
  34.     the paging hours from within the RamPage.CFG file. Sorry Adrian, I did 
  35.     try. If I can ever figure this out, I'll add it in.

  37. RamPage ver 4.1 (Dec 31, 1994)          
  38.  
  39.   - Changed "Return to Main BBS Menu" to "Quit to Main BBS Menu". I wanted 
  40.     to keep things as close to Wildcat's normal commands as possible.

  42.   - Also moved the "Please ENTER your choice:" prompt from the display 
  43.     to the bottom of the screen. Easier to read, and more like Wildcat.
  44.     Prompt is NOT displayed to RIP callers.

  46.   - Altered the BBS, and RIP screens a tad to reflect the new changes.

  49. RamPage ver 4.0 (Dec 13, 1994)

  51.   - Although it was great fun to watch a user in the RAMPAGE.BAD file make
  52.     one failed attempt after another to page the SysOp, it was a hollow
  53.     victory when the same users attempted paging while I was away from the
  54.     computer. Added in FULL Activity Log writing for RAMPAGE.BAD users. Now
  55.     one and all can see just how often those annoying users attempt to page
  56.     while you are away. The log will also show you their pathetic reasons
  57.     for the page. It promises to be great fun!

  59.   - Finally figured out how to get the (Reason for Paging the SysOp)  on 
  60.     the same line as the "Reason for Page" line in the activity log. I had
  61.     to make a couple minor modifications to the activity log prompts in 
  62.     order to fit the full length of reason on one line.

  64.   - Cleaned up the coding a little bit. Got rid of a few lines that were
  65.     not needed. Hey, I never said I was perfect.

  68. RamPage ver 3.0 (Nov 27, 1994 *12 hours after 2.0*)
  69.  
  70.   - Major Bug Fix! When entering chat from the main RamPage menu, upon 
  71.     exiting from chat, the screen would remain blank, except for the
  72.     Wildcat prompt "Press [ENTER] to return to the BBS", But when you
  73.     hit ENTER, the RamPage menu would NOT redraw. Added in the ability
  74.     to redraw the screen by hitting the Spacebar. This bug will ONLY 
  75.     show up if SysOp enters chat at the RamPage Main Menu. This problem
  76.     doesn't occur anywhere else. Wish I would have caught this bug before
  77.     I released 2.0.

  81.  
  82.   - Version upgrade. Released (Nov 27, 1994)
  83.  
  84.   - Added in the ability to Lock Out users whose name appears in the
  85.     RAMPAGE.BAD file. Once a user's name is entered into this file,
  86.     they will be completely locked out of the Emergency Page, and will
  87.     give the user a 'simulated' page so they will not be aware that they
  88.     are being ignored. It simply appears to the "locked out" user that
  89.     the SysOp is unavailable.

  91.   - Changed the Emergency Page header. Other than a color change, there
  92.     was no way for the user to know they were attempting an Emergency
  93.     Page. Now users are informed.
  94.  
  95.   - Added in the coveted SOURCE CODE for RamPage! I originally figured 
  96.     I made it SysOp configurable enough, so didn't feel it necessary to
  97.     include the source. Now RamPage is totally SysOp configurable!

  102.   - Enhancment Release (Nov 26, 1994)

  104.   - Reworked ANSI and RIP screens to make them more appealing. My first
  105.     screens were sort of a rush job trying to get my program out as 
  106.     fast as possible.

  108.   - The NEW RAMPAGE.RIP screen's Emergency Page feature is now a hidden
  109.     feature. It is enabled by "Clicking" on the RamPage Main Menu
  110.     title header.

  112.   - Finally figured out the code to LIMIT the user's Reason for Page to
  113.     the alloted space on the screen. No more scrolling past the edge.
  114.  
  115.   - Added in coding to return user to RamPage Main Menu if they leave 
  116.     no reason at all for the page. Had to completely restructure the
  117.     whole source code to get this feature to work!
  118.  
  119.   - Added in "Incorrect Emergency Page Password" prompt.
